How to solve Error 65 and Err 66 Nice3000 Controller.

How to solve Error 65 and Err 66 Nice3000 Controller.

When troubleshooting Error 65 on a Monarch Nice3000 elevator controller, understanding its relationship with the UCMP (Unintended Car Movement Protection) function is essential. UCMP helps prevent accidental car movement by detecting any unexpected displacement. If detected, the control system stops output and reports Error 66, indicating a related fault.

Error 65: UCMP Detection Abnormal

  • Cause: The UCMP function is activated, or accidental car movement occurs, leading to Error 65.
  • Solution: Verify that the motor brake is fully engaged, preventing unintended movement. Ensure the car does not move unexpectedly when idle.

Error 66: Braking Force Detection Abnormal

This error can arise if the system detects insufficient braking force.

  • Cause: Insufficient braking force detected.
  • Solution: Check the brake clearance and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate braking force. Proper calibration of the braking system will help prevent both Error 65 and Error 66.

In both cases, careful inspection of the braking system and adherence to manufacturer guidelines can help resolve these issues and prevent future faults.

Fault E65, E66 or E74 may be reported during the debugging or running elevator

Failure analysis :

UCMP Function : protectiin device to prevent accidentl movement of the car, and detect whether th car has moved through the MCTC SCB-A/A1/C module? When the system detect unexpected displacement, the control system immediately stop output and reports E66 fault.

Brake Force Detection: Through the output torque of the system, the brake does not open, and the pulse change detected? when the system test brake braking force fails, the control system immediately stop output and reports E66 fault.
